Brian Brane

Pittsboro, NC

Brian is judging the AKC All Breed Agility Trial and the AKC Agility Trial Belgian Tervuren only.

Judge

Brian had no interest in showing dogs until he tried agility in 2002 when his wife, Michele, asked him to show their smooth collie, Claire, who Michele felt was "too fast" for her to run. Since that time, Brian has become an agility addict, training and showing their second smooth collie, Lark, to #1 agility collie two years in a row, finalist/4th place at the Eukanuba Agility Invitational in 2012, and finalist/7th place twice at the AKC National Agility Championship (2011 and 2013). He is now showing Lark's daughter, Joy, and is training Lark's grandson, Evan.

In 2013, Brian got his agility-judging license and has been enjoying judging very much. When he's not involved in agility-related activities, Brian works as a computer systems designer and likes to play chess online.

Brian lives in Pittsboro, NC, with his wife, Michele, 4 smooth collies, 2 cats, and a few guinea fowl and chickens.
