I am honored to be asked to judge Junior Showmanship at your National Speciality. I have judged juniors for the last twenty years. It is encouraging to see the young people take an interest in something so many of us have enjoyed for so long.
My breed is the Irish Wolfhound, for whom I have judged National and Regional Specialities in the United States, Canada, and England. I have also judged numerous Australian Shepherd and Rare Breed shows. I am past president and education chair of the Irish Wolfhound Club of America and have chaired regional and national specialty shows. I was able to help bring to fruition several innovative changes in public, member, and judges’ education.
