Gretchen has been involved in training and showing dogs since 1996. She is a 2002 Master Trainer graduate of the Tom Rose School and became a tracking judge in 2009. She is licensed to judge all levels of tracking and pointing breeds hunt tests.
Her Weimaraners have earned numerous titles in conformation, obedience, rally, agility, hunt tests, and tracking. Gretchen trained and handled her Weimaraner, Obie, to a Champion Tracker title in 2008. Gretchen enjoys watching dogs solve scenting problems and seeing the great teamwork between the handler and dog needed to successfully complete a track. Gretchen Chapman Stephenson |
